Mystery Word Demystified

PuzzleMash Mystery Word contests add another layer of fun to our already fun-filled puzzle books! In fact, we’re just hoping the fun police won’t show up and tell us to tamp it down a bit.

It’s actually pretty simple. Here’s how it works. Get a copy of our Mystery Word included puzzlebooks – like our Crossword, Cryptogram and Variety puzzle books. (Not all of our puzzle books are suited to Mystery Word inclusion.)

Go through the book and figure out the puzzles, just like normal. But keep in mind that one of the puzzles is going to be a little different from the rest. (Remember Sesame Street?) It could be a Crossword puzzle that is different from the theme of the rest of the book, or maybe a Cryptogram or Word Scramble that gives you clues about which word – in a different puzzle – is the Mystery Word.

Once you figure out the Mystery Word, hop on our website and enter it! It’s that simple! If you’re the first to enter the correct Mystery Word, you’ll be our First Place Winner for that particular Mystery Word contest and we’ll post your name (First name, last initial & city) to our Mystery Word Hall of Fame.

We’re just getting started at this point, so the big question is: WHO will be our first ever Mystery Word Hall of Famer??
